Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Han Qide, Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Pan-National Congress of the People's Representatives, highly appreciate the Level of Bilateral Relations between Ukraine and the PRC, and deem necessary to continue its further Development and Promotion.

 

A. Yatseniuk stressed during the meeting with Han Qide on Monday, that "good political and economic dialogue" is going on between our countries. He particularly emphasized an intensive development of the Ukrainian-Chinese relations on the parliamentary level. On behalf of the Ukrainian Parliament A. Yatseniuk expressed sincere sympathy concerning the tragedy in Sichuan. «We are convinced that China cope with that financially, but it´s an extremely difficult situation in the moral end», - he said.

 

Going into the parliamentary constituent of bilateral relations, Han Qide proposed that Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stirred up inter-Parliamentary contacts on the highest level, as well as on the level of committees and groups of friendship, which on his opinion will contribute to the improvement of legislative basis of our states and strengthening of controlling functions of the legislative branch.

 

Han Qide has invited A. Yatseniuk to visit the PRC in time convenient for him.
